Cathay's Flight Attendants Union including Chairwoman Zuki Wong Sze-man, in pink cardigan, met with their fellow Cathay colleagues after their meeting with the Hong Kong Aircrew Officers Association. All committee members of the Cathay's Flight Attendants Union have signed the new contracts offered by Cathay, saying this move is to maintain the union’s operation, stressing their priority is to provide help to colleagues that opt not to sign the new contracts. A spokesman of Cathay Pacific said the deadline for signing the new contracts is today and will not be extended. The spokesman also said the terms in the new contracts are market competitive, saying that most flight attendants have already accepted the new terms. “Cathay will continue to support its employees, the employee support center will remain open to help with employee’s inquiries,” the spokesman added.
