Chairwoman of Cathay's Flight Attendants Union Zuki Wong Sze-man (left) said the management refused all their demands. Cathay’s management has refused to extend the deadline for staffers to sign their new contracts, after meeting with Cathay's Flight Attendants Union today. Chairwoman of the union Zuki Wong Sze-man said the management is playing hardball, refusing their claims of extending the deadline for signing the new contracts and offer the same transitional allowance to all staffers who signed it. The union has also requested the management to review the contracts yearly and not to sack the employees who opt not to sign the new contracts. Cathay previously set today as the deadline for staffers to sign the new contracts.
