The chairwoman of the Cathay Pacific Airways Flight Attendants Union, Zuki Wong Sze-man, said all nine of its executive committee members were signing the new contract as they were committed to maintaining union operations. The union met with management and the Labour Department yesterday morning, but Cathay refused to budge on its terms. Unionists also asked the company to review contracts yearly, but Cathay said that was a matter for future discussion.
