The Secretary for Food and Health Sophia Chan Siu Chee announced today that all catering business and scheduled premises will have to apply for the “Leave Home Safe” QR code starting this Thursday. Chan said these premises will have to apply for the QR code before December 3, and will have to display the QR code within the premises after 2 days from receiving them. “In view of many of the infected lost track of where they have been to during their infection or incubation period, the government encourages citizens to download the ‘Leave Home Safe’ app and put it into use,” said Chan. She also added that government departments are working on displaying the QR codes on venues managed by authorities.
