Unlike several other detectives, this character isn’t natively from Bengal, but has been adapted to belong in the land of Feluda and Byomkesh. Jio Cinema recently unveiled the trailer of Shekhar Home, a web series inspired by the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, set in the 1990s, in the town of Lonpur, Bengal. Kay Kay Menon stars as the titular character, whose life changes when he meets Ranvir Shorey’s Jayvrat Sahni, and the two become unexpected allies who solve mysteries together. Also starring Rasika Dugal and Kirti Kulhari, the show will premiere on Jio Cinema on August 14.
