Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, claims Diddy forced his way into her home and raped her in 2018, toward the end of their relationship. According to the suit, he controlled every aspect of her life — including her career, car, apartments, clothing, and medical records. Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation and seeking a payday.”“Mr. Combs offered Ms. Ventura eight figures to silence her and prevent the filing of this lawsuit,” Douglas Wigdor, a lawyer for Cassie, told the New York Times.
