Casino night to raise money for Bear's cubsRICKY WILSON/FAIRFAX NZ A special casino fundraiser has been organised by Bevan Moody's friends and teammates, from left, Laura Murphy, Georgia Ryan, Tim O'Malley and his sister Hayley Moody. Waitohi rugby player Bevan Moody, 22, nicknamed "Bear" by fellow players and friends, died in May after he suffered a cardiac arrest on the field. Those who loved him have joined forces to hold a special casino night to raise money for Bevan's children, Maddison, 2, and his yet-to-be-born son, who teammates and friends have already christened "Cub". All proceeds from the night will go to the Bevan Moody Children's Trust Fund. An auction will also be held at the casino night which takes place on July 29 at the Port Marlborough Pavilion in Picton.
