more-inIn order to encourage digital and on time payment of electricity bills, power discom BSES on Thursday announced a cashback scheme through which consumers can get up to ₹3,600 if they pay their power bills digitally and before the due date. “To avail the cashback scheme, a consumer has to make the payment from Mobikwik’s, an e-wallet, website or mobile app,” a BSES statement said. Around 40 lakh customers of both BSES discoms — BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd (BRPL) and BSES Yamuna Power Ltd (BYPL) — are eligible for the offer. “This means that over a 12-month period, they can get cashback of up to ₹3,600,” the discom said. “To be eligible, they simply have to pay three consecutive BRPL/BYPL bills each quarter (one bill per month) through the Mobikwik platform.
