Traffic is expected to be diverted off Levin's main street when the new Ōtaki to north of Levin expressway is built. More than $800 million has been set aside for the Ōtaki to north of Levin expressway as part of the Government's infrastructure announcement. The new state highway was given was given $817m as part of the cash splurge announced on Wednesday.
