Securi­ty forces find euros, dollar­s and Sudane­se pounds totall­ing more than $130mA large hoard of cash was found at the home of Sudan’s deposed president Omar al-Bashir, who is being investigated for money laundering. According to the BBC, Security services found euros, dollars and Sudanese pounds totalling more than $130million. A source in Sudan’s judiciary told the BBC that suitcases loaded with more than $351,000, €6 million and five billion Sudanese pounds were found at his home. The money, which Radio Dabanga said was shown to reporters, was stuffed in bags designed to contain 50kg of grain.
