The coalition’s presidential candidate Raila Odinga alleges that President Uhuru Kenyatta engaged in bribery and intimidation as well as abuse of public resources to win the election. However, in their affidavits, Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho and Presidential Delivery Unit (PDU) boss Andrew Wakahiu deny the claims that public resources were used for campaigns. BUDGETMr Kibicho says the compensation of IDPs was planned and budgeted for in advance. Mr Kibicho explained the circumstances that led to the President warning chiefs in Makueni during his campaigns.
