KUALA LUMPUR: The RM200 Budi Madani cash assistance under the diesel subsidy rationa­lisation programme has been increased to RM300. The measure aims to ease the financial burden on diesel users following the rise in global fuel prices. On Wednesday, the ministry announced that the retail price of RON97 petrol would increase by 60sen to RM5.15 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of unsubsidised RON95 petrol will go up by 60sen to RM3.87 per litre for the same period. The subsidised RON95 petrol price under the Budi95 initiative will remain unchanged at RM1.99 per litre.
