recruitment adsChandigarh, Sep 23 (PTI) The Punjab police today said it has registered a criminal case against unknown persons in connection with false advertisements related to recruitments. Fake advertisements regarding vacancies in the Punjab police are being circulating on social media to lure the youth to usurp money from them and to cheat the government, a Punjab police spokesperson said. He said no such advertisement or announcement have been made or advertised by the Punjab police for recruitment or employment of any cadre in the force for the current year. He said the state cyber crime wing of the Punjab police has registered a case in this regard under relevant sections, including 420 of IPC and the IT Act at its its police station in SAS Nagar.
