Chinese authorities are intransigent in their stand that Australian atrocities in Afghanistan are a crime deserving of international condemnation, and they should not be made to apologize for exposing the same. The current Aussie-Chinese tensions began when Chinese artist Wuheqilin posted in his Sina Weibo account a photo cartoon depicting Australian atrocities in Afghanistan before international media while Australian Premier Scott Morrison cries as he cradles a fallen Australian flag: “Apologize! The Australian Defense Force (ADF) has released findings from a four-year inquiry into misconduct by its forces. Nothing can better portray the mentality when Australia showed much greater anger toward a Chinese cartoon than the crimes of Australian soldiers in Afghanistan. “Yet, few knew about Australian soldiers’ wrongdoings until Morrison propagandized it through a tantrum against a cartoonist.
