Prasad and Gayani Ranasinghe were crowned Men’s and Women's champions at the recently concluded Central Province (CP) Carrom Championship conducted by the CP Ministry of Sports, in collaboration with the Carrom Federation of Sri Lanka, at the Kandy YMCA Auditorium. This tournament was conducted to select the Central Province Carrom team for the National Sports Festival. Senadi, while Gayani Ranasinghe beat Madushani Ranasinghe in the Women’s final. The following seven each men and women were selected to represent Central Province at the National Sports Festival.
