Star Kiwi canoeist Lisa Carrington has claimed more gold on the final day of the NZCT Canoe Sprint Nationals and Oceania Championships at Lake Karapiro. After winning her 10th national K1 200m title on Saturday, the 29-year-old then also went on to defend her K1 500m crown, with victory in that event on Sunday morning. In a reverse of the K1 200m placings, Ryan - who last year posted a world-best time in the discipline - this time placed second, in 1:48.70, with Fisher taking bronze, with 1:49.69.
