Morales’ legal counsel Attorney Anne Marie Corominas said that Morales called her to inform her that she has been held by immigration authorities at the airport. Morales and former Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert Del Rosario recently filed a complaint before the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Chinese President Xi Jinping. The two officials lodged a complaint against Xi before the ICC for alleged crimes against humanity for his country’s actions in the South China Sea.
