GEORGE TOWN: Vivian Teoh whose 19-year-old daughter Carmen Yee succumbed to tuberculosis (TB) in August is baffled by the internal inquiry by Penang Hospital. Teoh said an external inquiry was held from 9am to 5pm on Wednesday at Penang Hospital. “We were told that the external inquiry report will be submitted to the Health Ministry where they will study and go through the report to hopefully give closure to her death. The external inquiry was carried out by a panel consisting of specialists from the Health Ministry in Putrajaya, Seberang Jaya Hospital and Alor Setar Hospital, ” she added.
