CaritasManila along with Project Ugnayan has distributed worth P1.7 billion assistance to those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Caritas Manila distributed gift vouchers redeemable in nearby groceries to challenged communities in Metro Manila and nearby areas. As of September 2020, over P1.37 billion worth of gift certificates has been given out to 1.37 million poor households in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite and Laguna.
