Liege Airport has reported growth in aircraft movements and cargo tonnage since the start of the year, with May 2024 continuing this positive trend. For May 2024, the airport recorded an 11.3% increase in cargo aircraft movements compared to May 2023, rising from 2,026 to 2,256. Cargo tonnage saw a 13.4% increase, with 95,905 tonnes handled compared to 84,582 tonnes in May 2023. Liege Airport, however, reported a 33% increase for April 2024 compared to April 2019, and an average growth of 28% for the first five months of 2024 compared to the same period in 2019.
