Parents are quick to refrain their children from career paths such as music, drama and other art-related courses, deeming them ‘mock career paths’. Young innovative minds are pressured to pursue marketable career paths but they are never encouraged to follow hobbies and talents. I have made endless mistakes but one thing I will never regret is choosing a career path based on my passion. Passion is key to having a fulfilling career. Give all careers same value to promote economic development in different sectors.
