In a chaotic final hour of the Bathurst 1000, it could have so easily have been Fabian Coulthard who won this year's great race. However, when a safety car came out it took away from Coulthard the time gap he'd built and he went into the pits knowing his chance had gone. "The safety car just didn't fall our way, we had a quick car," Coulthard lamented. "But that little safety car, and when they all crashed into each other, that ruined our day.
