The carcass of a rare Chinese pink dolphin, also known as the Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin, has been found floating in the watersoff Lamma Island and has been recovered by Hong Kong Ocean Park Conservation Fund for an autopsy. The mammal, is believed to be a year-old and is about 115 centimeters in length. The Ocean Park foundation has appealed to the public to alert them to other possible incidents. These creatures are also known as Chinese white dolphins, and appear pink because of blood vessels beneath the skin.
