No-one was seriously hurt when a car went out of control on State Highway 8 and into the Clutha River near Millers Flat this morning, police say. An occupant of the car was taken to Roxburgh for medical treatment but was not believed to be seriously injured, a police spokeswoman said. Meanwhile, a car hit a bank on the Crown Range Rd, near the Cardrona Valley Rd, at 11.40am today. One lane of the road was blocked for some time after the crash, but no-one was injured, the spokeswoman said. And in Dunedin, no-one was seriously hurt when a car hit a parked car on Taieri Rd, near Wairoa St, at midnight on Friday, police said.
