A person was taken to Wellington Hospital in a moderate condition after a four-wheel drive vehicle towing a boat rolled about 10am on Monday. The occupant was briefly trapped in the vehicle before being freed and transported to hospital, police confirmed. The accident occurred on the north-bound lane of the Kāpiti Expressway between Raumati Rd and Kāpiti Rd. One lane of traffic was completely blocked after the accident but traffic flow returned to normal shortly after the scene was cleared at about 12.15pm. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
