Police were called to a car crash on Waitārere Beach Rd on Thursday afternoon. One person has suffered moderate injuries when a car rolled on to its roof in Horowhenua. A police spokesman said police attended a crash, where one car had rolled on to its roof on Waitārere Beach Rd, between State Highway 1 and Waitārere Hokio Rd, just before 1pm on Thursday. One person was taken to hospital with moderate injuries. Ambulance and fire and emergency staff attended the crash.
