Police have arrested a man aged 34 and his 29-year-old female partner after the car was discovered on Sunday morning, reported BFM TVThe car, a Peugeot 607, contained seven gas cylinders and was found after police noticed the vehicle had no registration plates. It was parked on the Quai de Montebello in the fifth arrondissement of Paris, which is just a narrow stretch of water away from the Notre Dame CathedralThe cathedral is one of Paris's most visited landmarks attracting 13 million visitors each year. Anti-terror police and the French General Directorate for Internal Security (DGSI) have launched an investigation.
