ALOR GAJAH: A 28-year-old man with only a motorcycle licence was allegedly behind the wheels of a car during a fatal crash that claimed the life of a nine-year-old pupil on Wednesday (July 22). Alor Gajah OCPD Supt Arshad Abu said his men are now probing how long had the man been driving a car without a legitimate licence. Supt Arshad said he had rushed to the scene on Wednesday just after hearing a schoolgirl had been killed in the crash. "My heart sank to see a lifeless child under a lorry in her school uniform," he said. I also hope that Aqilah’s father recovers swiftly from his injuries sustained in the accident,” Dr Wee had said in a Facebook post.
