A driver has lost control and ended up in Saltwater Creek in central Nelson. A police spokeswoman said police were called at 8.22am after a vehicle crashed off Haven Rd and went down a bank. Skara Bohny The car ended up in Saltwater Creek after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The car appeared to have hit the sign and travelled onto the wrong side of the road and gone into the creek. Nelson City Council communications manager Paul Shattock said the car was in the process of being removed from the creek.
