A police spokeswoman said the car on fire was parked on the side of Stuart St, east of the Highgate overbridge. Police were called about 8.30am for traffic control as one lane was blocked due to the fire. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokeswoman said crews from two stations - Lookout Point and Dunedin City - attended.
