This image of the ditched car, showing it blocking a train just by a platform at Stirling station, has been posted on Twitter by Scotrail. Scotrail said in a Tweet : "A car has encroached onto the railway at Stirling. A British Transport Police spokesman said: "Officers were called to Stirling railway station at 12.17 this afternoon following reports of a car on the tracks. A ScotRail spokesman added: “Some services to and from Stirling have been subject to delay and alteration while the emergency services attend an incident at the station. “Customers can stay up to date with the latest travel info on our website, mobile app, or by following us on Twitter @ScotRail.”
