Punjab Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Vijay Sampla on Sunday asked state Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh to list out achievements of the Congress government when he was the chief minister instead of resorting to burning of “chitta’ Ravan effigies. “The strategists are preparing agenda for him on day-to-day basis involving a lot of drama,” said Sampla. He said Amarinder and the Aam Admi Party are defaming Punjab in the name of drugs. The Congress was making fun of religious tradition of burning the demon king’s effigy on Dussehra. “Amarinder is scared of losing the polls for the third time and is taking the help of effigies to save his political existence,” added Sampla.
