On Sunday, Commission on Elections Education and Information Department Assistant Director Frances Arabe reported that the canvassing of votes is now 96.41 percent complete. Asked regarding the possibility of the winning senators and partylists being proclaimed on Monday, she said: it is unlikely. “We will try our best to canvass all the COCs so we can only have one event for the proclamation of senators and partylists,” Arabe said.
