It led to a rare two-goal night for Tyler Myers, two goals by Tanner Pearson and a solid performance by Thatcher Demko in a 5-2 decision. “It always feels good to score,” said Myers of netting his second and third goals of the season. Demko’s best save came in the second period when he stopped Ryan again in an eyeball-to-eyeball showdown after taking a Dillon Dube feed from behind the net. The Flames finally got to Demko late in the second period when Rasmus Andersson pounced on a Monahan rebound and went to the backhand deke.
