Price is talking to Stuff about the nearly 18 months since the March 15 attacks and explains the focus for police and the wider community moving forward. “We cannot allow others to behave in this way, so as New Zealanders we have to call this out,” he says. “The true first responders on March 15 were the community. While the sentencing process is now complete, Price says the community needs to continue call out racist and hateful ideologies. “We're there to serve the community so my focus is on making sure that this will not happen again.”
