By RICK GREEN, LACONIA DAILY SUNLACONIA — City Council candidates Armand Bolduc, Reuben Bassett, Susan Hodges, Bruce Cheney, Bob Hamel and Richard Beaudoin, along with School Board candidates Rodney Roy, Stacie Sirois and Dawn Johnson, have committed to participate in a candidates night on Monday, an event organizer said. In the election, Mayor Ed Engler, Ward 3 Councilor Henry Lipman and Ward 5 Councilor Robert Hamel face no competition. The Ward 1 race pits Susan Hodgkins, a real estate agent, against Bruce Cheney, a former Laconia police chief. In the Ward 5 School Board race, Stacie Sirois, the incumbent, faces Rodney Roy. In the Ward 4 School Board race, Dawn Johnson is running unopposed in Ward 4.
