From her office window, the Cancer Society Canterbury-West Coast Chief Executive can see the daffodils beginning to bloom. It heralds the start of a month of raising awareness and funds for the Cancer Society, culminating in Daffodil Day on August 28th. This year marks the 30th Daffodil Day for the Cancer Society, and Chesterman's 25th. "I think that's why a lot of people choose to help the Cancer Society. I think that's being truly human, and that's what we are here for."
