A cancer charity is offering residents a special discount to kickstart the new year and enter one of its much-loved events. Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life returns to the Royal Windsor Racecourse on June 1 with 3k, 5k and 10k events open to all ages and abilities. Elisa Mitchell Cancer Research UK’s spokesperson for Berkshire said: “No matter how cancer affects us, life is worth racing for. We’re proud that Race for Life has already helped double survival rates in the UK. “We’d love for as many people as possible across Windsor and Slough and beyond to join us at Race for Life.
