Canadiens suffer embarrassing 8-1 loss to rival Bruins at Bell Centre

Carey Price and the Montreal defence were missing in action Tuesday night as the Boston Bruins trounced the Canadiens 8-1 at the Bell Centre. That loss was embarrassing because the Canadiens squandered a 4-0 lead. Charlie Coyle found Pastrnak alone at the back door and the Bruins’ sniper scored the first of his three goals. The Bruins scored off the opening faceoff with Pastrnak notching his second goal after only eight seconds. Pastrnak scored on backup Keith Kinkaid midway through the period to complete his hat-trick.
