The Maple Leafs and Canadiens, after all, haven’t met in the post-season for 40 years. The acquisition of Max Domi from Arizona has been a major plus for the Montreal Canadiens in a bounce-back campaign. While the Leafs may or may not be better than last season, the Habs are a lot better. It was way back in 1979 that the Habs and Leafs last met in the playoffs, with the Canadiens sweeping the series. The Habs are crafting a nice story this season, better among all the Canadian-based teams except Calgary.
