The Canadiens had the day off Sunday, but they did make a roster move, calling forward Riley Barber up from the AHL’s Laval Rocket, making the announcement at 5:15 p.m. In 21 games with the Rocket, Barber had 6-12-18 totals and was minus-6. On Saturday, the Canadiens sent forward Charles Hudon down to the Rocket. Hudon had one assist in nine games with the Canadiens after getting called up from Laval, where he had 9-2-11 totals in 17 games. Jake Evans had two goals and an assist for Laval, while Kevin Lynch also scored as the Rocket improved their record to 14-10-3.
