Canadiens at Lightning: Five things to watch

The last time the Canadiens and Lightning met was on Dec. 29 in Tampa and it ended with the Lightning winning 6-5 on a goal by Adam Erne with 1:02 left in the third period. Antti Niemi was in goal for the Canadiens, who outshot the Lightning 38-32. 1 defence pairing, but Mete’s still looking for his first NHL goal after playing 95 games over the last two seasons. Artturi Lehkonen’s slump isn’t nearly that bad, but the Canadiens forward has now gone 19 games without a goal. The weather: Canadiens fans still recovering from this week’s major snowstorm in Montreal will be thrilled to know Saturday’s forecast in Tampa calls for a high of 25C, but under cloudy skies.
