NEWARK, N.J. — The locker room for the visiting team at the Prudential Center is one of the smallest in the NHL. That meant Canadiens rookie Jesperi Kotkaniemi didn’t get an actual stall ahead of Monday game against the New Jersey Devils (7 p.m., TSN2, RDS, TSN 690 Radio). Instead, the 18-year-old had to use two folding chairs beside the entrance door as he got ready for the Canadiens’ morning skate and also later for the game. “I like this … I like this,” Kotkaniemi said with his bright smile after the morning skate. Kotkaniemi needs 10 points in the final 20 games to break Mario Tremblay’s Canadiens record for most points by an 18-year-old.
