Hundreds of Canadians have taken to the streets to celebrate the legalization of recreational marijuana following a nearly century-long ban. Celebrations are being held across Canada on Wednesday following the legalization of marijuana for recreational use. Toronto police launched a public awareness campaign Wednesday reminding people to stop calling authorities to snitch on their neighbors' marijuana use now that it's legal. 'Recreational cannabis users in Canada will just continue with their [existing] sources of supply until the legal system catches up.' In the run-up to legalization, cannabis companies have been on a tear, as companies struck corporate deals while others went public creating an investor frenzy.
