Canadian race driver returns to Teretonga for Classic SpeedfestKavinda Herath/Stuff Classic Speedfest competitor Jack Ondrack and his 1969 TVR Tuscan V8 at Teretonga on Friday. A TVR Tuscan V8 racing at the Classic Speedfest at Teretonga this weekend was built from parts shipped to Southland from Canada in a container 20 years ago. Jack Ondrack, 78, of Alberta, Canada, bought the remains of three TVRs - a Tuscan V8 and two 2500s - in Michigan, United States, 25 years ago. Elder built a Tuscan V8 from the parts. Last weekend, Ondrack and his 1969 Tuscan, classed as a vintage race car, won three races in the sports and GTs class at Timaru.
