SAPPORO, JAPAN—Canada’s two-time world pairs champions Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford remain undefeated on the Grand Prix figure skating circuit after winning the NHK Trophy on Saturday. Canadians Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir set a world-record score in the short dance. Duhamel, from Lively, Ont., and Radford, from Balmertown, Ont., roared back from a second-place finish in the short program to claim gold with 204.56 points. “There were some strong elements and there were some unfortunate mistakes,” Radford said. “But sometimes we have to make these mistakes throughout the season so we can learn from them and they don’t happen again.”Their program featured a triple twist, side-by-side triple Lutz and throw quad Salchow.
