The St. Louis team has 30 players on their roster for the 2018 season, of whom 21, or more than two-thirds, are Canadian. The Raptors, by comparison, have one Canadian on the team, Chris Boucher, and 10 Americans. Looking at each team’s roster on the NHL website, the Blues have the highest number of Canadians on their team compared to the rest of the NHL, including the Canadian teams. The Habs have the most maple syrup flowing through their veins among teams in Canada — 16 of their 27-man roster are Canadian.
