Canada, U.S., Mexico agree to align climate and energy policies


The leaders of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico agreed on Wednesday to align their respective climate and energy policies and to work on resolving border issues. Obama arrived in Canada aboard Air Force One, which touched down at the Ottawa airport around 10:15 a.m. After the summit, Trudeau is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Obama, who will cap his day-long visit to the Canadian capital with an address to Parliament. Ambassador to Canada Bruce Heyman and his wife, Vicki, Canadian Ambassador to the U.S. David MacNaughton, and Ottawa mayor Jim Watson. "The outcome of today's discussions will improve the lives of Canadians, Americans, and Mexicans across the continent," Trudeau said in a written statement at the North American Leaders' Summit in Ottawa.
