Canada Day is back at Bayfront Park this year — fireworks and all. The City of Hamilton announced the annual celebration is returning to the shores of Burlington Bay on July 1 after a two-year pandemic hiatus. The sports zone will include members of the Hamilton Bulldogs, Forge FC, the Toronto Rock and the Hamilton Honey Badgers. Little kids will also enjoy performances by Studio Babette Puppet Theatre and a Big Blue Blocks play area. On-street parking near Bayfront Park will be restricted to area residents with parking passes.
