Canada’s Jennifer Jones wins 13th straight to reach world curling final

NORTH BAY, Ont.—Canada’s Jennifer Jones defeated American Jamie Sinclair 9-7 in Saturday night’s semifinal at the world women’s curling championship. She came through with a hit for a deuce in the 10th end to pick up her 13th straight victory at the North Bay Memorial Gardens. The American skip made a great double takeout in the fifth to lie two but Jones hit for a single. In the early semifinal, Hasselborg opened with a deuce and was in control of the game despite the close score line. Up by two and with hammer coming home, she sealed the victory with a takeout in the 10th end.
